Bio: From the back streets of Detroit, Betty Jewels has emerged from the underground music scene to flip discs since 1986. Since the days before Vanilla Ice was spitting beats, Jewels has been break-dancing and throwing down. After a rough dance battle, and an infamous appearance on the popular show "Cops", Jewels felt the necessity to move away from the City of Love. To the Pacific Northwest she journeyed, settling in Bellingham, Washington where her hardcore street ways were traded for hoodies, thick-rimmed glasses, and v-neck tees. There her love for indie-pop blossomed and the Diamond Pitt was created. Happy listening!
